The problem

SASD is a proposed assembly hall with an auditorium, teaching hall, lobby, and parking. The team needed to understand how these spaces connect. Drawings and fixed views made it hard to explore the building at eye level. Questions about rooms, finishes, and dimensions also meant finding the right information in the plans.

What we built

Ask about the space

Ask about where you are or what you see. The voice guide uses your position and nearby plan labels. It answers project questions from reviewed plan notes.

Navigate by voice

Ask the voice guide to take you to a place or show the way on the minimap. It can also open plans and product sheets beside your view or in the full viewer.

The SASD lobby in the walkthrough, with the voice guide’s caption and a plan open beside the view — The voice guide opens a plan beside your view. You can also ask about the space or ask it to take you to another place.

Day, evening, and night

Change the time of day as you explore. The walkthrough adjusts the light on the model, sky, and reflections. Interior and site lights come on as evening falls.

Find places and view the plans

Search for a room or a place on the site. Jump there or follow a route. Open and zoom in on plans in the viewer, with your position shown on the floor plan.

How it works

One model, prepared for your browser

We built the model from the plans with our architect. Scripts prepare the Blender model for the browser, compress its geometry and textures, and split it into sections. The walkthrough loads nearby sections first as you move. The guide searches reviewed project notes for answers. It is instructed to flag missing or conflicting information.
